Wild flower sketching

What do you do on a misty, rainy day in the Summer holidays? You take your 6 year old out to collect some interesting wild flowers to draw, that's what. Sometimes when it's misty, like this, you have to look at what's nearer to hand and zoom in on all the details. We chose only the most interesting shapes and colours and bunged them in a jug.

'But there are too many bits to draw,' he says.
'Just choose the lines you like and take the pencil for a walk,' say I.
I have to remind myself as well, 'Just have fun!'
Here's his picture,
 and here's mine,
